Burgett Boutique is now introducing "Lovey Blankets".

These blankets measure approx. 18"x18" and are made of the same luxurious fabrics as the full size toddler version. They are a must have for both home and travel or even for playing peek-a-boo!

I will not be doing custom orders for these...so the stock will rotate on a regular basis or I may not even have any. SO...you better swoop one up before they are all gone! :)

The first blanket was a custom order for an amazing customer who happens to draw blood like no other! Seriously...you don't even feel a thing! That's right Katie...you are awesome! :) I hope your daughter loves her blanket!

The second blanket is a gift for a special little girl named Savannah. It is big, lush & VERY purple. Thank you SO much for all of the clothes, Julie...I truly appreciate it. Joni and I are SO grateful! Looking forward to our next playdate! :)

After making it, I do wish I would have just purchased an iron on transfer instead of making one from scratch. Just to save time. However, the iron on's that I found (in the right size) were anywhere from $3-6 - per patch. I just couldn't see myself spending that much extra for a dress up item. I am also not a huge fan of appliquéing stuff (its SO time consuming!!!)....but I did it anyways because I am cheap. :) I also didn't have any yellow felt on hand and didn't want to drive into town to get some so I substituted plain yellow fabric....it worked just fine.

Anyways, the pattern and instructions she gives are amazing and Cohen was beyond excited when he saw what I was sewing. Totally worth the applique! :)

My sister-in-law sent me some fabric to make some pillowcase dresses for my niece. I had enough extra to make a skirt and another non-pillowcase dress. I am glad you liked them Shana! :)

Regrettably, the time has come when I have become SO busy with life and sewing that I am not going to be able to accept any more custom orders for a while. I dearly love doing custom items and thank all of you for the business! If you are REALLY wanting something special, don't hesitate to email me anyways and I will see what I can do based on my schedule.

I will still have an inventory of baby items for you to choose from throughout the year...so just because I can't take custom orders does not mean that I won't have anything for purchase.

Ultimately, I just need a breather for a while to get caught up and focus on other things. As some of you may already know, I am pregnant and am due in October. I am still planning on doing the Christmas bazaar and know that I need to sew all of my bazaar items by my due date or I won't have anything for you guys to buy during Christmas!!!! :)

I really want to thank all of you that have given me your business this year. I love sewing and you have all allowed me to feed that passion! I still look forward to being your go-to girl for baby showers and gifts in the future! THANK YOU!

I can not make these to order because it is not my pattern. However, you can purchase the pattern and fabric and make it yourself... :) Flickr has some great photos of the bag in different fabrics for ideas. I did modify the pattern to suit the needs of a new mom. I enlarged the pattern by 20% to make it more roomy for all the things you need for a new baby and also separated the pockets in the front to store sippy cups/bottles so they don't fall over in the bag and make a mess. This bag is so fantastic because it converts from a tote to a backpack when you need both arms to do something else.

Anyways, this company is one of my favorite pattern places for personal projects. The clothes for children (Oliver + S) are trendy and modern and are just so cute!!!

Excuse the pictures, I was in a hurry!!! I also just realized that I neglected to take pictures of the inside. The inside is made with black/pink/white/red fabric that has a contrasting pocket with 3 sections and another zippered pocket. I also included a diaper clutch and medicine/misc. pouch.

Something cute to store you ipod, cell phone, small camera...etc. The front pouch is for storing the earbuds, SD card attachments or even a short USB cord. The split loop allows for you to attach your cord to your electronic of choice and plug into anything you want while it is being stored, or to listen to music while in the pouch!

Just a few photos from the Craft Bazaar this month. I didn't have time to take pics of all the bib sets I had or some of the other things....but here is some of the stuff. My friend Kahli (shown in the pics at the bottom) also makes beautiful things for babies and mom! I haven't posted any close-ups of her work...but she made the burp cloths, diaper clutches, stockings, checkbook covers and coffee cozy's. SO...if any of you are wanting to purchase stuff from myself or her from what you see (or if you have a custom request)...just let me know and I can get with her and see what she has as well. Enjoy!
